I remember someone saying they wanted to port Xlib so they could
do graphics.  This is kind of silly since Xlib does no graphics
itself; all it does is send messages to an X server that actually
does the graphics; any standalone port would have to include all
the code from the X server, which would make it unwieldy, to say
the least.
