This is a GNU question, not a DJGPP question.  So you should check in
the GNU newsgroups (if you can get them).  You could try mailing to
gnu AT prep DOT ai DOT mit DOT edu to ask.  (Sorry, I don't have time to go digging
around to find a better address or the newsgroup/mailing list names.
If you really can't find them, send me mail and I'll go look
tomorrow---today is a teaching day :)
