In a previous message, someone suggested to use script11.zip (simtel)
as a way to redirect (compiler) messages from stderr to a log file.
I tried it, but script exits immediately with the message "command not
found", whatever command I supply: a DOS command, an .exe compiled with
a "normal" dos compiler (e.g. Turbo-C), or an .exe compiled with DJGPP.
(Of course all the .exe files are on the PATH.)
Even with: script -f logfile command /c dir
script replies: command C:\DOS\COMMAND.COM not found.
(with command.com present in \DOS!).
I'm using DOS 5.0 on a 386DX-40, with djgpp 1.09.
Can anyone help me with script11, or suggest another solution?
Thanks!
