Subject: Question: stdvga.grn
To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT EDU

Hi.

I have a question on stdvga.grn that was obtained from a zip file on omnigate.
(I forgot the exact zip file name, but similar to grxdrvt1.zip(?) by Hartmut.)

My question is, stdvga.grn didn't work on a laptop system with LCD vga screen.
Though this system has a LCD screen with only 64 gray levels, my image
rendering program could work for default(built-in) graphics driver of djgpp.
(i.e. no go32 variable setting.) I think it is in 320x200x256 mode, but the
laptop screen is probably emulating 256 gray levels with 64 gray levels.
But stdvga.grn didn't work for 320x200x256. I got a blank screen.
(something seemed to be displayed, but hardly could be seen. almost nothing)
(But, the program itself seem to be working.)

What is the problem? Any comments?

Thanks.

Wonkoo.
