Many thanks to all who ran to my rescue on this ;-) --- I had the correct
solution within 20 minutes of posting! (let's see Borland or Microsoft
provide THAT level of support! :-)
The winning solution was to grab the updated GO32 from omnigate.clarkson.edu;
once installed, all of the trident-based drivers would work. As happens
in banging one's head against a bug-wall, I also discovered the CBX..
drivers are probably more suited to my purpose.
BTW: I recompiled the DKBTrace ray-tracer this morning and left it churning
away on a 640x480x256 image, something unthinkable in bcc without a lot
of extra hacking. Count me among the happy campers!
