I think this is a *real* good idea -- and that someone has done it
already.  Try the Austin Code Works; you can find their ads in Dr. Dobbs,
etc.

Also, Uunet will ftp in anything you want and send it to you via uucp;
the only fees are the data transmission charges for sending it to you.

There have been servers that would fetch things via ftp and mail them to
you; but I don't know about any of them off hand.
