  i could not get patch to work with the djgpp --> dv patch that was
posted recently. kept getting various context errors. any ideas?

  also, i hand-patched the necessary files & all works well except
stub.exe seems not have recompiled well. whenever i prepend it, i get
something like "file (garbage) not found\n(garbage)". any ideas?
