Y'know, I didn't even know about that file?
But now that you mention it, I've seen the bfdsymify there when
I was rebuilding GDB, at one point.

Speaking of which - next time someone builds a release of GDB,
installing pdcurses on your system and adding a symlink
libpdcurses.a->libncurses.a means that you can successfully
run "gdb -tui ...." which is much, much nicer!

(I'm putting this out there because I've already tried building
GDB 6.6 with DJGPP to no success at first shot; I may hack at
it again later but this way it's a known fix.)
