Bug report submitted (with a patch):

After fixing this bug, no other serious DJGPP specific problems noticed.

So perhaps archives could be finally Ok for v2gnu (built, but not uploaded 
yet). I used djdev203 revision 2. Maybe it's time to change to v2.04 beta 1
