I looked at porting glib 2.x to DJGPP a while back. As you say, that requires
pkg-config. I gave up porting pkg-config, because of the LFN issues - there
are a lot of files that would break in 8+3.

A package is better than no package, IMHO.

That sounds good. Please include DSMs.

Once pkg-config is available, I might take a look at glib 2.x again.
