Subject: Timetable for 2.04 releases

Hello.

Here's a suggested timetable for 2.04 releases. OK, there aren't many times,
so it's more of a table. Since the new DXE code sounds like a killer feature,
let's do two alphas.

2.04 alpha 1 - within a month
* Ship CVS with hopefully: strto*, isnan, fchdir; uclock fixes.
* Goal: Mostly C99 compliant, except for maths, wide-characters. Test what we
have now, which is already pretty different than 2.03.

2.04 alpha 2 - two to three months after alpha 1
* Ship CVS with hopefully: Charles's new DXE code; fstat & stat fixes.
* Goal: Mainly test out the DXE code; shake out any bugs in alpha 1.

2.04 beta 1 - decide date later
* Bugfixing

2.04 beta 2 - decide date later
* Bugfixing

2.04 release

The uclock fixes could go into 2.04 alpha 1.

Hopefully this will satisfy both camps: release soon to get some testing vs.
wait a little longer for new DXE.

FWIW I also read the other day that FreeBSD is not C99-compliant with respect
to its maths functions. I think we can add the C99 maths functions at any
point in the cycle above.

Thoughts?

Bye, Rich =]
