Based on the recent discussions, it seems:

 gdb 5.0
 bison 1.29, 1.30, 1.32
 gcc 3.04, 3.1
 gcc 2.95.2 + gpc20b
 bnu 2.12.1

were distributions mentioned multiple times for nuking with no disagreements.
These would be around 100Mb of files.  There were others mentioned (which
shouldn't be ignored) - but those above are fairly big or in the middle
of a bunch of releases.
