I ran the three relevant tests in djtst203: cephes, elefunt's tpower, and
paranoia.  None of those test apps revealed any significant problems.  (Of
course, they didn't find the subtle bug in the old libc pow(), either, but at
least it gives us some confidence that no major new bugs have been introduced by
the patch.)  I see no reason not to commit the patch.
