Hmm.  Could that produce a problem with the "From ???NNNb.zip" lines in 
the new DIR I have suggested?  There is a lot of text, and usually 
several tabs as well, in those category names.  How is that going to 
work in a command-line option?

I guess I'm asking if I should *not* use tabs in those category names 
in order to allow the install-info to work correctly.

And another thought occurred to me.  For big packages like textutils 
and shellutils and TeX, are we going to need an install-info invocation 
for each separate utility entry in order to get them into the right 
DJGPP DIR category?
