Alright, I got hold of cvs1-11-1p1.zip, which holds only cvs.exe,
and the pdf 176 page manual.  Nothing seems to have installation
instructions.  BTW DJ's link to "download the software" doesn't
seem to work.

Sigh.  I started to publish my hashlib, got sidetracked into DJGPP
malloc, and now have to learn all about CVS.  The latter I was
planning to do anyhow real-soon-now.  It just gets deeper.
