Either way is dangerous; either you risk confusion about which 2.03 is
the right 2.03, or you risk accidentally creating a 2.04 that isn't
official.

Unfortunately, there's no "alpha" tag we can set between releases.
Unless we create "djdev000" package descriptions and point mkdist.bat
at those in the interim.

I'm not sure what to do about version.h
