I removed the alphas/gcc stuff. Eli, what about the emacs in alphas?

And I moved these out of the area also (but saved them in case we
change my mind):

$ ls /home/dj/oldsimtel/
bnu210a.zip  bnu211a.zip  bnu27d.zip      bnu2951s.zip  mak375b.zip
bnu210b.zip  bnu211b.zip  bnu27s.zip      bnu2951x.zip  mak375d.zip
bnu210d.zip  bnu211s.zip  bnu2951a.zip    bsh203b.zip   mak375s.zip
bnu210s.dif  bnu211t.zip  bnu2951b.zip    bsh203d.zip   mak379b.zip
bnu210s.zip  bnu27b.zip   bnu2951.README  bsh203s.zip   mak379s.zip

leaving behind:

$ ls bnu* bsh* mak*
bnu2112a.zip  bnu2112s.zip  bsh204b.zip  bsh204s.zip   mak3791d.zip
bnu2112b.zip  bnu2112t.zip  bsh204d.zip  mak3791b.zip  mak3791s.zip

And these redundancies:

acnf    212 213 250
amake   13 14 15
bsn     128 129
cvs     110 19

gcc     2952 2953 302
gdb     418 500
gmp     311 311x
