Hi,

I tried the patches that were posted here earlier to fix the win2k problem.
I had to climb a learning curve, but I figured out how to apply the patches
and rebuild the library.

I just rebuilt make, and the problem still occurred.

I rebuilt gcc as well, and the problem is now gone!!!!

I should note that gcc was gcc2952 and I build gcc2953, but I doubt that had
anything to do with it.
