Subject: DSMs and DJGPP packages

Hello.

Now that zippo 0.1.3 has shipped, I would like to encourage people to
include DSMs in any DJGPP packages they make. I am willing to offer help
in making these DSMs - how to write DSMs, using dsmcheck to test DSMs,
testing with zippo, etc. There are plenty of examples of DSMs that come
with zippo. You can also read them from the zippo home page - see:

    http://www.phekda.freeserve.co.uk/richdawe/zippo/dsm/

Also, it would be a good idea to include DSMs in any packages that are
updated. Unless people are really keen, I don't think there is much point
updating all DJGPP packages with DSMs yet - that could make people
download the packages thinking that there is something new about them.

Another idea I had was to put DSMs in a package of their own. Then zippo's
upgrade facility could be used to update the DSMs available to zippo.

Bye, Rich =]
