Arg-g-g-gh! Ignore my last post, I *AM* running the 1997 fil316b in my
/bin! I indeed *have* the more recent version, but never installed it.

Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea MAXIMA culpa to everyone I have caused to
waste their time on this. The df.exe binary from the most recent
fil316b.zip produces the same results as all of the other tests I have
been doing after rebuilding fil316s.zip with the variants of statfs.c:

O:\>df z:
Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Available Capacity Mounted on
Corel Linux 1.2 Sources
                       326552 326552 0 100% z:/

O:\>df --version
df (GNU fileutils) 3.16

O:\>dir \bin\df.exe

Volume in drive O has no label
  Volume Serial Number is 0D1B-18D4
  Directory of O:\bin

DF EXE 91,648 05-26-00 2:03a df.exe
          1 file(s) 91,648 bytes
          0 dir(s) 629,587,968 bytes free

Please accept my very humble apologies for this wild goose chase.
