Yes.

From looking at the texinfo manual there are:

* @minus{} to insert a minus sign;
* '---' to insert an em-dash;
* '-' to hyphenate;
* '@-' to insert a discretionary hyphenation point.

'em-dash' doesn't seem to be in any of my dictionaries, but I guess it's a
typographical term referring to a long dash separating words.
