I started using CVS on a Windows machine, and found out what I think
is a terrible misfeature in the Windows port of CVS: it blindly adds a
CR to each LF in files it checks out. In files which are stored with
their DOS-style EOL format in the repository, this causes grief,
because an extra CR breaks batch files (you get lots of "Bad command
or file name" messages).

Does anyone have any trick up their sleeve to avoid this problem? I
did search the manual and didn't find anything appropriate, but I am
known to miss things in CVS docs ;-).

Thanks in advance.
