Is the latest development version stable enough to be released?  If so, 
perhaps we should make them available somewhere, and let people use them.

One of my gripes about the current sources is that the patches I sent to 
Ian Taylor several months ago are still not in the CVS tree (I just 
checked).  These patches fixed several DJGPP-specific problems, some of 
them quite significant.  Last time I asked Ian he told me he *will* put 
them in when he has time (that was in October).

I have most of Mark's patches incorporated in Binutils which I use on my 
machines.  I intend to incorporate the rest of them in a short while, and 
after some short test period, I will be able to put the distribution on 
SimTel (unless someone does that first ;-).
