Been there, done that.  I had this problem in every port of a GNU
package.  I usually edit the configure script (from config.bat) to
avoid the problem.  All that is needed is to reverse the order of the
two Sed -e commands on that line, and it will work.

Sorry, I missed it.  Perhaps it should be mentioned in the README.

??? How could these diffs help when someone looks for a source file
that wasn't included in gdb418s.zip?
