Could people who know their way around C++ in general, and libstdc++ and 
iostreams in particular, please look at this bug and help me decide 
whether this has something to do with core DJGPP?

As you will see from my comments there, it seems like cin.clear() doesn't 
call clearerr().  If this is the case, then it's a bug in libstdc++ and 
should be reported elsewhere.  However, I don't have the time to look it 
up in the standards and/or libstdc++ sources to make sure this is the 
case.  Please help me.  Thanks.
