I'm told that the FSF DOS/Windows CD-ROM, released about a year ago, is
selling very well, and until now brought $9600 of income. This is more
by a large margin than all other FSF CD-ROMs with source and binaries for
Unix platforms, together.

As you could guess, the absolute majority of the software on the CD is
the DJGPP ports of GNU software and the DJGPP development environment
that you-all are using.

It turns out that DJGPP is doing more for the advance of free software
than the free software itself on its native target platforms.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody whose hard work
made and continues to make DJGPP such a good and popular package. Keep
up the good work!

(If you are interested to know more about the CD and the book that
accompanies it, go to http://www.gnu.org/orders/windows.html.)
