As I remeber I still had some problems with binutils-2.9.1 binaries
from Andrew Crabtree. Therefore I built it myself for DJGPP under
Linux (cross-compiling) after applying small patch I got from Andrew
(to fix problem with local labels)

Perhaps binaries built with native compiler for DJGPP is needed for
official release as there is no "official" release of cross-development
tools. Of course one could mirror binutils-2.9.1.tar.gz (needed due to
GPL) and include some shell scripts to build binaries under Linux...

I'm also thinking about including scripts I'm using for building
cross-compiler under Linux in egcs-1.1.1 source archive (under
gnu/egcs-1.11/contrib)
