This suggestion is not meant for those who set TMP to the RAM disk:
those people know what they are doing.  This suggestion is for those
who don't even know (or care) what TMP is.

Only for Tar, mind you.

Besides, I'm sure you don't use the original stock DJGPP.ENV anyway.
