But that wasn't the context here. It said (paraphrase), "if the fields are
zero, a temporary stack will be used; otherwise they will be used AS IS." In
other words, they will be used exactly as they are, no changes will be made.
It seems to me that since we have the @emph{} capability, we should use it
instead of the cruder caps.

Thanks, that's one I missed. Eli mentioned another, and I found yet a third
that I introduced :(. A patch is included, apply it on top of the previous one.
