Subject: Re: 32-bit DPMI host

Morten Welinder started that effort about 2 years ago, and was about 1/3
finished before he and I both got buried in real life responsibilites [...]

At one time the code was ftpable from riceng (before it died) and I haven't
tried to find a copy of his most recent code to put on the replacement
ftp site (which is built, with anon ftp, but is at work instead of rice...)
I may be begging for someone to send me a copy of this back...

Silent as I have been, I am still hanging around. I just checked,
and I have a version of my code dated July 31, 1996, which is close
to the date my things started going into boxes, so I trust that is
the final version that I made.

Just to make things clear: anyone wishing to start coding at this
level needs to know (a) the i386-architecture, (b) the DPMI spec.,
and (c) quite a lot about dos/windows/... It's a mine-field.

Copies upon request...

Morten
