Thanks, I will remember to look into this when I port Fileutils.

Which reminds *me* that somebody should sit down and port Binutils 2.7.  
I'm afraid as long as we live with 2.5.2 we are forever stuck with 
problems like the ld bugs with large objects/libraries, lack of support 
for stubbed executables, etc.
