Ah, then I didn't understand your question (I certainly didn't
understand well enough what the proposed patch has to do with us).  I
thought the question _was_ about COFF symbols and other debug info.
(Does symify support stabs?)  That, and register numbering, perhaps.
Isn't that what the proposed patch was about?
