I tried a different approach for same problem (see djcross-gcc-7.1.0.tar.bz2 , file diffs/source/gcc/ada/adaint.c.diff, hunk 2). Seems that more investigation is needed. There were no similar problems with rejected approach. Using current change to adaint.c caused build to fail (compiler crash) for development versions for a long time when building Ada tools. gcc-7.1 seems however to build OK. Andris
