It seems that gettex-0.10.40 available for DJGPP is too old to handle NLS support for snapshots of upcoming gcc-4.9. /dev/env/DJDIR/bin/msgfmt --statistics -o po/zh_TW.gmo /gnu/gcc-4.90-20131206/gcc/po/zh_TW.po /gnu/gcc-4.90-20131206/gcc/po/zh_TW.po:48196: parse error /gnu/gcc-4.90-20131206/gcc/po/zh_TW.po:48212: parse error /gnu/gcc-4.90-20131206/gcc/po/zh_TW.po:48217: parse error /gnu/gcc-4.90-20131206/gcc/po/zh_TW.po:48225: parse error .... It was still OK for gcc-4.8.X. One could perhaps run into the same problem also for other packages. Of course I could specify --disable-nls when configuring GCC for DJGPP as it was done for a long time Andris
