I have tried to compile today's djgpp cvs source tree using gcc 4.1.2
and binutils 2.17 on Windows 98SE and Win XP with DJ's patch applied.
Both compilations died with the following error message:

gcc ... -c symify.c
`-mcpu=' is deprecated. Use `-mtune=' or '-march=' instead.
