As I said above, the memalign was never claimed to work, and has
nothing to do with standard usage. In fact that portion of the
source was specifically labelled as experimental and disposable,
emphasis on disposable. I believe everything else to be bug free.
I spent a good deal of time on that when I was in better health,
and I hate to see it just all go to waste.
