AFAICT -frepo supports implicit template class instantiation by
recompiling object modules including the required template class
method instances, as opposed to -fno-implicit-templates, which
requires explicit template class method instantiation; so as long as
you continue to invoke collect2 when -frepo is specified, everything
should be okay. Or maybe I'm preaching to the choir?
