It seem that I have been sleeping as I made the patch. Please ignore it.
From the explaination it should be clear that following lines must be removed:
/* close file */
fclose(l1->fp);
In conclusion, not the non valid file descriptor of stdout should be passed
as argument to dup2.
If really needed I can submite a new patch.
