I am now unable to reproduce the crash. Sed still fails the
eval test, but without crashing. Restoring the backed up
libc.a of Nov. 15, 2004 does *not* result in a crash.
PASS: linecnt
make.exe[3]: Entering directory `c:/djg/gnu/sed-4.1-2/testsuite'
LC_ALL=C ../sed/sed -f ./eval.sed < ./eval.inp > eval.out
./sed/sed.exe: error in subprocess
make.exe[3]: *** [eval] Error 4
make.exe[3]: Leaving directory `c:/djg/gnu/sed-4.1-2/testsuite'
FAIL: eval
PASS: distrib
I shall next return to bison using my fat libc.a (2.293kB)
of Nov. 23 to see if those frequent crashes are gone as
well.
Regards,
Frank
