For everone's information, there has been some other activity in the dynamic loadable area from other developers. Daniel Borca has been working on DXE3 - a modification of DXE2. We are discussing merging these development efforts to get into the cvs/libc tree. This would provide wrappers to support the dlopen() type unix calls (in some cases). My goal is to have a layered approach - DXE at the low level - small, fast, proprietary - called by other wrappers to add compatible interfaces and more sophisticated features.
