I haven't met problems with automake-1.5 used together with autoconf-2.13.

No. Perhaps at least one of them must stay. I had problems with 4.1 (on Win95,
mkdir crashed in some script but I didn't have time to look for more
details), where both 4.0 and 3.16 worked Ok.

gpc20b*.zip is gcc-2.95.2 based, so it must go if gcc-2.95.2 is removed and I
