The output is exactly the same and the same substitutions in Makefiles happen. IMHO it should abort with an error. I've reported this in bug-autoconf mailing list and still got no reply. Perhaps if you could follow up my posting there that the bug is present in the CVS version (I cannot verify this), it would get some attention? Laurynas
