Okay, just wondering if there was something magic in libc or if it was
in fileutils code.

Both are 4.0; dates are 12/26/01 for the v2.03 refresh, 9/29/01 for
old CVS build.

Since I saw the problem also, I don't think it's fixed.

It appears truely random, and it's on Windows 95, so I expect it to be
flakey. (My wife had all the good boxes taken when I was reading email).
If I get a chance I'll check some more.
