I decided to wait a day before committing, because:
* After discussing the stubs on the list before, I was reasonably certain
I could write an explanation that would be accepted with no or a few minor
alterations.
* It's a documentation patch.
If it were a code patch, I would wait a lot longer - a week or more -
before committing.
I'll commit the patch next Wednesday.
