Perhaps we should set a flag in the stdaux and stdprn static descriptors that says "this is a standard handle, don't close the handle". We use that instead of the fd number when we walk the list at exit. We never set that flag in fopen. That way, if we do inherit fd 3 closed, it will get flushed.
