BTW Could you show the undocs.txt file from ntlfn08.zip package to your
'Microsoft contact'
for a piece of advice how the functions work? 
Used appropriately they could spend up the LFN driver at least twice ...
Also there is the horror story of rm -rf directory_of_name_longer_than_67
...
