I see that src files should be in unix lf-only format; I need to fix this.

4 of the 24 files are identical to current CVS head versions, some of
the others may be earlier versons.  A quick summary of what is included
is attached.  If you know of a 2.03 bug easily fixed not included below, 
speak now.
