Using xgcc (non-stripped).

It's an evil one.  Kills NTVDM completely, quietly, back to command line
with no indication of what's happened.  If I do one step too many I'm
back at the command line.

I created a file that generate warnings when compiled.  Sometimes the
warnings appear to the screen before the silent exit, sometime they 
don't.  The .S file is always created.

The execute of CC1 seems to happen OK, return OK.  Someplace before
the second one I go away.
