Sure, I just told the way I'd like to see it in the future.

Why not? This topic is not so narrow - 'contributing' also should include
info where to send patches, what areas of DJGPP need work. IMHO even Eli's
promised DJGPP-porting-FAQ, once written, could be placed here.
