Based on comments from Alexandre about ':' appearing in Unix filenames confusing the living daylights out of make and other tools I went ahead and installed Laurynas's original patch: http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2000-05/msg00393.html Interested folks can follow the thread links to get the full discussion. jeff
